Integrating Polystyle Into Oracle JDeveloper
The following instructions allow you to format the current open file in Oracle JDeveloper using Polystyle. (These have been tested for version 9i.)
Add an External Tool that will invoke Polystyle
- Click Tools -> External Tools....
- Set the Menu Caption to "&Format With Polystyle" as follows. Optionally set the the icon location
to C:\Program Files\Polystyle\jdeveloper-integration\small-icon.gif.
Specifify Polystyle's Installation Location
- Click the Details tab.
- Assuming you installed Polystyle in c:\Program Files\Polystyle, fill in the form
as show below:
Specifify Your Invocation Preferences
- Click the Invocation tab.
- Fill in the form as show below:
You may now invoke Polystyle three ways
- By clicking the Polystyle "T" icon in the toolbar.
- By clicking Tools -> Format With Polystyle.
- By right clicking a file and choosing Format With Polystyle.
